10 tips: What to do with our containers

Published by Mário Soares a

One of the reasons we choose aluminium containers is their infinite life. And the endless possibilities of what to do with them!

So... Your candle is over. First step: Buy another one! Preferably ours! (😜)

Second step: Making use of the wax left over from the full burn. Our candles, for safety reasons, rarely burn to the final 5mm of wax, and there is always a little wax left over.

To make use of this last bit of wax, put boiling water into the container, and let it cool. This will melt the wax, and bring it to the surface.

With that leftover wax, you can do...

... Drawer/closet air fresheners. Make a hole in the wax, and attach a string to attach to your cupboard rod. We guarantee you'll be constantly opening your cupboard just to smell it! Always check that it is in a cool place away from direct sunlight.

... If you have a wax melteryou can melt this wax on the top until it no longer emits its aroma.

Now, let's go to the container!

After washing it well, with a little detergent, your container has endless possibilities. I'll leave you with 10 of the ones we use them for, and our customers use them too!

It makes a really cute vase!

To turn our containers into vases, you have to start by drilling 5-6 small holes in the bottom of the glass. It's relatively easy, with a nail and a hammer, the thing is done!

Then just add soil, compost and the seeds of your favourite flowers. Or your aromatics, to look beautiful in your kitchen!

Store solid soaps!

This one, it's personal! We use our Exilis candle containers to store our solid soaps when on the go, or to transport them.

To store spices...

Our Exilis containers look fantastic storing our bulk spices. With a label on the lid, it couldn't be more practical! And our Magna's container for storing salt.

For coffee!

Our Magna containers are inspired by old coffee cans, and serve the purpose perfectly!

Organisation on the dot!

We all have a few loose things. In the desk, in that drawer in mess (I admit I have one too), in the bathroom... there's always something that can be tidied away. Our containers can be the perfect piece for that. From storing some objects on the desk, like pencils and pens, or in the bathroom, like paintbrushes.

For almost everything, in bulk.

We have some customers who use them, for example, to store toothpaste, or to dose detergent. For anything you buy in bulk, our containers can help you keep it safe and secure! And you can even take them back to your bulk shop to use as a bag. Remember, you should always wash your containers very well if you are going to store anything food.

Cut and sew.

How about a sewing kit on-the-go? Our Magna container is perfect for having a sewing kit always with you.

The organised wallet!

Keeping everything in order, inside your wallet, or your backpack, can be a challenge. And what irritates us most are completely tangled headphone cables. The kind that we don't even understand how it's possible. Well, roll up your headphones and put them in our Exilis container. Goodbye us!

To decorate, anything and everything.

Metal looks good almost everywhere. It is a very neutral material that goes well with almost any colour, so use it for decoration! How about a mini decorative vase, with some fresh flowers at your entrance?

Of no use at all? We'll take care of it.

If, in the end, you don't see any use for them, we'll find a future for them. Talk to us to return your used containers, and we guarantee they will have a second life! (And third, fourth... so on)
