Care & Safety
Instructions:
Keep the wick of your candle trimmed. This allows for safer and cleaner burning. The first time you light your candle, leave it burning for 3-4 hours to allow the melted wax to reach the edge of the container to prevent a tunnel from forming (burnt wax in the middle, and the edge with unburnt wax). Read here all our tips and tricks . Safety and care: Follow the 2-meter rule: don't put lit candles near clothes, books, curtains or anything flammable. Place them on a stable, heat-resistant surface that is sturdy and large enough to catch any melted wax.
Keep lighted candles away from draughts, ceiling fans and any air currents. Never leave a lit candle unattended. Blow out all the candles when you leave a room or before you go to sleep. Extinguish if the flame gets too close to the candle holders or container.
A candle should not be burnt for more than four hours at a time.
For a safety margin, stop the burning of a candle by putting 2 cm of wax back into the container.
